9. DGAW Scientific Congress »Waste and Resource Management«

On 14 and 15 March 2019 the 9th scientific congress "Waste and Resource Management" will take place at the OTH Amberg/Weiden. Fraunhofer UMSICHT Sulzbach-Rosenberg is represented with two speakers.

On Thursday, Johannes Neidel (Department of Energy Technology) will give a lecture on "Evaluation of a plant concept for fuel production by thermochemical conversion of sewage sludge".

Martin Nieberl, Department of Environmental Services, will speak on Friday. His lecture will be: "Prospecting electronic wastes - Which electronic devices allow for a viable recovery of tantalum?

In addition, Prof. Matthias Franke, deputy head of the Sulzbach-Rosenberg branch of the institute, head of the recycling management department, is active on the advisory board of the DGAW Scientific Congress. He is a board member of the German Waste Management Association (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Abfallwirtschaft e.V.).
