Christmas and New Year Greetings from Sulzbach-Rosenberg

Merry Christmas, stay healthy!

We thank you for the trustful cooperation and your support in this extraordinary year. The crisis has shown us once again what a transformation of the economy towards sustainable energy production and recycling of resources also means: becoming more resilient to disruptions. Many of our ongoing projects, as well as new ones, are helping to increase the resilience of our society.

  • In the To-Syn-Fuel project, we are bringing the decentralized use of bio-based, domestic residues for energy generation to industrial application.
  • In our activities on feedstock recycling, we are finding ways to make plastics and composite materials usable as sources of basic chemical materials through high-quality recycling.
  • In the Fraunhofer joint project "ReSyst", we are investigating how the more efficient use of secondary raw materials through digitalization can reduce dependence on critical raw material sources.

In this sense, we are not discouraged by the crisis, but see it as an incentive to continue to resolutely advance the energy and raw materials turnaround through our work.

We sincerely wish you all a Merry Christmas, reflective days and a happy and healthy start to the New Year.
